Integrated Pipeline Projects Canada Ltd. (IPPCL) specializes in the execution of complex multi-disciplined pipeline projects, and has broad experience with oil and gas transmission pipelines, projects through difficult terrain, and permafrost.
Our project personnel have been involved in the pipeline industry within North America and internationally for more than 35 years and have extensive experience in the engineering, construction and field management aspect of long distance pipeline projects.
In Canada, our firm brings broad experience to all stages of both Federal and Provincial regulatory approval processes (including CEAA, DFO, NPA, Alberta AEP, the B.C. EAO, the B.C. OGC, and various other permitting ministries in Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan).
We have a proven capability in delivering all EPCM services for a pipeline project from conceptual studies and estimates through detailed route selection, design, cost and schedule controls, tendering, contract administration, construction management, construction and inspection. For larger projects, IPP is unique in the industry in that it focuses on committing key people fully to a project from start to completion. This is a key success element for large projects with distinct phases. Our project experience has shown that to assure quality, maintain schedule and minimize costs, a project demands a fully dedicated staff of key personnel with no priority conflicts, thus achieving continuity in decision making, while avoiding information losses, duplication of effort and “learning curve” inefficiencies.
Our approach to maintaining project staff continuity also has the added positive effect of promoting top performance from key individuals who “take ownership” of budgets, schedule and contracts, consequently working harder to deliver on these key elements through to project completion.
